Introduction photography

My view on Photography

Photography has always been for me an excuse to pause and contemplate the beauty of Life. Taking pictures is not only a moment of wonderment but also as a moment of connection and intimacy with what is!

Photography is also a process of becoming available to grâce and developing a degree of presence that allows inspiration to take us beyond personal concerns.

My invitation is to approach the discovery of the images by feeling them! And If we open ourselves to the World of emotion, what seems to be an external journey becomes in fact an internal one.

"I feel a deep Gratitude to be a witness of this beauty and to be able to share it with you."

Rediscovering our world

I deeply aspire to look at life with the innocence of a child and the tranquillity of an elder who understands the interconnectedness of all things.

In this see photography as a spiritual practice, a practice of Listening and developing Attention.

This sometimes brings me in a fascination for the impermanence and the essence of what I see, feel, touch and smell….

This magic click is like a kiss on eternity… Catching the present moment that is always available and yet already gone…

Reading life trough the filter of the elements

If we refer to different Traditions around the World, Life is often describe as a flow of energies. In China we speak of elements and Chi (vital energy), in India we speak about Prana and chakras*, in South America of the Spirit that animates the living, etc...

I have therefore chosen to present my photographs in six major families: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether and Reportage.

Each of these Elements has particular qualities beyond their physical aspect. In fact our way of seeing the World changes according to different levels Of Consciousness Each Element vibrates and has its own atmosphere. If we open ourselves to the World of emotion, what seems to be an external journey becomes in fact an internal one… In order to open us more easily to the subtle aspects of these Elements, I have associated evocative keywords that I hope can inspire you.
